All I can say is this, and put quite simply,Paper bags, are recyclable, and are also biodegradable, although they are man made per say,but at least to a point they don't harm the environment. As opposed to plastic bags, they are man made, and are also composed of compounds, and chemicals that do not break down,if they do,(plastic bags),will take years, and years to break down. They also do impact nature as well, but the advantage to plastic is their convenience. The sad but true truth is that plastic is more preferable.

Plastic, I can re use a plastic bag. I've had the same 4 re-usable bags for over 2 years now and they are still going strong, like to see a paper one do that. I would prefer a natural fibre one, but have you seen what shops charge for those? My girlfriend tells me paper bags take a lot more energy to produce too

i think plastic bags can be recycled , paper bags are made from wood , wood come from forest, forset Will be cut, so the CO2 will rise ,the pollution will increase ,the heat wil rise.As we are seeing from the big increase in the weather degrees through the last years.
the plastic bags come from the oil , which is one of the petrochemicals products, so it's can be recycled.

Paper is better. It is biodegradable, It doesn't BREAK as fast as plastic. You can fit more into paper.
I prefer Paper to Plastic any day.

Paper is nice to put recyclables in, plastic is better for the bathroom trash can and picking up dog poop.
