I met a guy on line by accident about 4 months ago. Although we've been e-mailing each other quite frequently and even chat on line a few times, I still think that he's evasive. For that reason I don't think I can trust him, although he says that we're on line friends. A former student of mine said that I shouldn't believe in that guy or the things he says because it's unlike making friends with real people. I think he's trying to tell me just play along with this guy. To me it's not easy because I can only make friends with those I can trust. Now that I can't fully trust this guy, I'm thinking about stop contacting him. This is me. I'd like to know how other people deal with their online friends. Do you trust them or not? Why and why not? Thanks for sharing with me.

I trust my IM friend implicitly (alot) and share my desktop and stuff with them freely, but I do not just let anyone be a friend, the first time anything happens i don't like, Goobye, and that's the end.

on-line people are just like other people in the world. the net just makes contacting people easier than back in the day of horse and buggies. i took months to go cross country in covered wagon, now seconds. there are good people on net and bad people. do use caution when meeting in person-restaurant, public place, etc. be careful.

It takes an exceedingly long term to have faith on line friends, I extremely have some whom i could never meet up with or provide very own advice to. yet its a threat, i'm now happy and residing with my boyfriend who I met on line. took me 6 years to have faith him adequate to fulfill him. basically have been given to be careful with on line friends. :)

OF COURSE, you can NOT trust him!!!!
if you should ever meet with him, make sure it's in public.
there are alot of perverts, rapists, etc. on line. be very careful

no matter what this guy says,you should never trust him.he may be dangerous.you can keep on sending emails with this guy but never should you risk it and meet him.you may regret it, and it may be tooooooo late for you..... boo hahahahahaha!!!!!!..sorry...
