I would say yes, it's probably not strange....you are used to experiencing the celebrations surrounding holidays with your spouse...you probably think of the things you did on "The last...."
I'm told this will fade with time, as you make new memories and share holidays with friends, family and maybe a new special someone in the future.
I know I am hoping this is true myself, this remembering what I did last year with my hubby is depressing me....so I feel for you.

its normal but also a waste of time..... start telling your self is over and start new..... i dont know how many times i have told people that a brand new start is the answer for things like this.. if that man havent yet came back to ya more likely his holidays are just dandy..... get the picture?? now is a whole new season of holidays leave all that old crapp behind you and enjoy life.... good luck.
