I could seriously go on and on...the 80's is my era, baby! I adore the music from that decade. I remember the very first airing of MTV. It was such an innovative concept! lol Here's a little trivia for you:
What was the first music video ever to air on MTV?
["Video Killed the Radio Star" by The Buggles. Aug. 1, 1981]
Thanks for the trip down memory lane!

Back in the 80s, it was Motley Crue. Favorite song was Without You. I was really into the heavy metal scene. A few great CDs are Guns N Roses - Appetite for Destruction, Cinderella - Long Cold Winter, Def Leppard - Vault (it has their greatest hits), Poison - Greatest Hits 86-96, and Aerosmith - Big Ones. A couple of good compilation CDs are Monsters of Rock and Pure 80s.

My favorite band from the 80's was Bruce Springsteen and the East Street Band. They are also my favorite, from the 70's, 90's and the present. In the 80's my favorite album was Born in the USA, and my favorite song off of that album was Dancing in the Dark. If you haven't checked out that album, I highly recommend that you do. It was the quintessential 80's sound, and I still love it today, as much as I did, the first day I herd it.

The Bangles, Bon Jovi, U2 and The Police. I think they're 80's. I love 80's songs. I am trying to buy CD's of 80's music now rather then just singing to songs on movies.

I was a little different from the norm.Propably King Crimson.I know one might say they were a 60's or 70's band which they were also. But the line up in the 80's with Robert Fripp,Adrian Belew,Tony Levin, and Bill Bruford is my favorite.

Stevie Nicks. And The Cure.
Even though they both existed before the 80s, the 80s were their heyday.
Gotta love "Edge of Seventeen". Very 80s.
