i have an 8x agp mobo. Can i use 4x vcard? Would it fit in the agp slot?

sure it will fit as physical meaning, but you won`t get the full speed of the x8 AGP bus because you are using a slower card, still your card will work very well, before I used a x4 card on x2 AGP bus

if mobo is agp3.0 standard, yes.
