Though it is not a good deal, it should be praised.
We had the upper hand in all the other three tests. In the second test I thought that India will win it easily but the rain had stopped it.
I agree with you about the one dayers as the indians did not played up to their levels inspite of their high remuneration and glory.
Ok hope for the best in the next series and future

Hey, if you have noticed India has come close to defeating west indies in 2 tests. During that time the nature was on their side. So even if it was a 1-0 win, the series win was convincing as India had been dominant in all the test matches.

The West Indies will lose with or without Gayle!. Gayle replaced into actual the captain for the try and ODI's vs Sri Lanka so not in straightforward words will West Indies bypass over his devastating batting, yet they are going to bypass over his captaincy too!!. West Indies batting line-up will count number completely on Sarwan and Chanderpaul's performance! the different batsmen are literally not solid adequate to get in the different section around the realm!. There bowling attack is average!! They havent were given a international classification seamer in there crew and there lack of spin options is apparent too!!. Australia will win and win comfortably adverse to between the worst West Indian aspects ever. Katich could play infront of Hodge!. Katich had a brilliant summer season!! he's done of self belief!! he's a superb participant who could make runs contained in the sequence

This is how unthankful ... some guys like you are towards your National Team. Am an Aussie, But I have great respect for Indian Team's players... They have the burden to carry the expectations of a Billion people.. and just concluded Test series, India had upper hand all the way through.

Yes its a big deal this is not even got by sachin tendulkar captaincy all the matches went to draw but last match won by windies, and the same by saurav. West Indies probably wastes balls more., though matches will went to draw. They are lot of walls in windies. The wall break down by the great wall of India. For that we has to cheer up. It was record upto 30 years. We break down the barriers and look forward hereafter. Now Rahul Dravid after Ajit Wadekar - Jonathan Justus

Hmmm... India won because Harbhajan & Kumble were the most benifited by the pitch. Carribean side didn't have that much of a kind of bowler that both experienced king of spins did.
Not that only, West Indies didn't have a wall in their team. the wall through which India succeeded for a 1-0 victory (Rahul Dravid).

india hasnt created history, the history is that this West indies team is the worst team since 30 years so it is logical that india wins, still we have same problem , we dont have genuine fast bowlers to play abroad, apart shewag and dravid we dont have match winners, yuvraj and dhoni can always perform if they need to do ads, they are not standard players, kaif and laxman play bcos of their past reputation of 4 years back !
Indians play only to get fame and money through ads, they get fame by fooling illiterate people beating bangladesh , zimbabwe, a weaken west indies, and in tailor made pitch at home and by zooming this victories through medias, all their loss abroad are forgetten easily !!!

Well. it´s quite right that Indian hasn´t performed well in this series, even though they won the series, but they didn´t what was expected from them. India won the series (particilurly the last match, because it was the decider). Just because of Anil Kumble, Bhajji (Harbhajan Singh), Dravid, and Shreesant as well.
thanks!

hey they have got a historic win and u can't discourage our young players in this manner.agree that they have not showed gud performance in the one days but remember test cricket is the real sport.it needs character which our team showed.even gr-8 players are judged on their test performances.
and you can't say that this is a small marginal victory as they have dictated the series right from test no.1 even though we don't had very experienced players(leaving kumble, dravid&vvs)
being an indian i wud say they are gr-8 !they have achived it after 35 years and that's a big deal!!!!
so,team india is the best.
