everybody here is so fixated on their astrological sun sign but nobody seems to ask anything about their chinese astrological symbol. i've posted a question asking whether people take their star sign seriously. the majority says yes. but now, i want to ask this: "which do you pay attention to: your normal horoscope (eg. leo) or to your chinese zodiac (eg. dragon)?"

also, do mention what your sun sign is along with your chinese zodiac when you answer. if you don't know your chinese zodiac, the below might help you know which one it is:

rat = 1936, 1948, 1960, 1972, 1984
ox = 1937, 1949, 1961, 1973, 1985
tiger = 1938, 1950, 1962, 1974, 1986
rabbit = 1939, 1951, 1963, 1975, 1987
dragon = 1940, 1952, 1964, 1976, 1988
snake = 1941, 1953, 1965, 1977, 1989
horse = 1942, 1954, 1966, 1978, 1990
goat = 1943, 1955, 1967, 1979, 1991
monkey = 1944, 1956, 1968, 1980, 1992
rooster = 1945, 1957, 1969, 1981, 1993
dog = 1946, 1958, 1970, 1982, 1994

Ya, it's fun but usually I pay more attention to my normal sun sign.
Just because it easier to look at since it's everywhere. :) But anyway, most of the time I only look for the profiles not horoscope(horror-scope, lol :D).

There's a site where you can combine the meaning of both your Sun Sign and your Zodiac Sign. I don't have the address though, I got what I want already so I left. Like someone above who posted before me said, they've their own specific meanings.

Scorpio...Dragon ;D Double trouble!

I do take my star sign seriously because sometime it is true what it says. But on the other hand I kinda think it is all made up to get people to read their star signs. I pay attention to my normal horoscope. My star sign is scorpeo, for my chinese zodiac I am a rat. Why do the chinese people use animals for star signs?

I believe one should pay more attention to their Western Astrological sign if they don't know much more about Chinese Astrology than what year they were born under. Chinese Astrology is much more complicated than just that. It also involves the hour, day, and month that you were born in.

I don't pay attention to either of my Zodiac signs at all. I know what they are but I don't care about them. My Chinese zodiac sign is rabbit and my "western" zodiac sign is Scorpio

I don't really take either seriously. It's fun to look and see what it says, but I don't really pay much attention to either.
