First u instal the mother board (be gentle), then u put in the CPU, carefully it goes in in just 1 way, then attach the cooler to the processor, u might whant to use a screwdriver to attach it (again be very careful). After this there should be a big box left over, u put in the upper part of ur case.
RAM , Video card, these are easy to install, just plug them in, RAM in the vertical blue slot, and VGA card in the brown one
Next u attach the colored cables to the mother board, they also have only one slot to go in to.
HDD and Floppy go on the metall suports in front of the case.
Also carefull how u plug in the cables , red goes near red.
Any other questions ask a local IT assistant.

If you're looking to put together a computer, your best bet for a first start is a XC Cube by aOpen. Their computers are partly assembled and the rest is easier to figure out than trying to assemble something inside an empty box. Give it a try. If that doesn't work out, I'm sure you can always take the parts to CompUSA and say your computer fell apart, and flirt with the person behind the counter so they fix it for you ;-) I'm just kidding, but seriously, give AOPEN a try. Good luck!

buy a barebone; comes with motherboard and case. all you need is the cpu, ram, dvd/cd drives, hard drive, and a graphic card(unless you want to use the integrated one). the rest is just knowing where everything goes and which jumper goes to what. the barebone that you purchase should come with instructions.
