I won't go into much detail, as I have told this story too many times, but I did in fact wait 10 years for my wife to recover from her schizophrenia, and when I saw her (she had moved back to Germany) I told her that I had stayed faithful all those years, and she replied " would you like to get a divorce". I don't regret waiting as I felt it was the honorable thing to do. I still love her, and will always, but I am now moving on with my life.
