I used to have Windows 98, and there was a Resource Meter on the system, that you could open in the taskbar and monitor the percentage of free resources you had. I just recentl upgraded to a new computer with Windows XP, but I can't find this feature. Does anybody know what I'm talking about and if there is anything like it on XP?

Right-click on the taskbar and select 'Task Manager'. On the window that comes up, select the 'Performance' tab. There is a real-time graph of CPU usage there.

Yes, you hit Ctrl + Alt + Delete and it will bring up the Task Manager, and your meter will appear in the system tray as well as being able to monitor your memory usage, and cpu usage history.
