select a team india you wud like to see in the world cup'07?

hey!this is a gud chance. i have made you a selector, but make a balanced team and also keep the conditions of windies in mind.

Now, my team is based on pitch conditions & the current team policies. Since the team management is giving so much importance to few youngsters, I’ll stick with them for the tournament. There will be lesser surprises.

1)V sehwag- Bat/ bowl- (vice captain. since sehwag is playing an additional role of spinner now, my first choice will be to go with just one spinner other than him.)
2)S Tendulkar Bat/ part time bowl
3)S Raina Bat
4)R Dravid (captain) Bat
5)Y singhe Bat/ bowl (I’ll get few overs from Yuvraj as well)
6)M kaif Bat
7)M Dhoni Bat/keep
8)I pathan Bat/bowl
9)A Agharkar Bowl/ Bat
10)H singh ( I think powar might have to sit out in most matches, due to Bhajji’s experience)
11)S Sreeshanth Bowl

They might be the first 11 in most matches. The general rule might be to go with 3 pacers, 1 genuine spinner, use more Sehwag, give few overs to Yuvraj occasionally.
For tracks much more conducive to spin, they might get one pace bowler removed to get Power. (Now since the Indian team follows the ideas of flexibility, the batting order might vary from match to match)

W Jaffer ( Since he has done well in West Indies. If Uthappa fails to impress by then, we don’t have much time to experiment)
(If ICC allows a 16 member squad , R.P.singh or V.R.V singh might get in based on recent form. Or even Z khan. Just as the world cup gets closer, selectors might be tempted to get an experienced bowler back to side. Also Zaheer is having a dream run in county cricket!)
