files can always be retrieved from a hard drive even after they have been deleted. I believe the only way to remove these files is a complete hard drive wipe.

As soon as you delete them, go to the trash bin folder and delete them as well. When you have already done that, you have deleted those files from your pc permanently already.

you can delete files by deleting these from the trash fiolder(recycle bin) or try it when you delete a file press shift button while deleting a FILE

For permanently delete files use these shortcut key-

Shift+Delete

You can delete them normally and then follow them to the recycle bin and delete or use shift+Delete.
