Okay the others are wrong, they do not pee on themselves nor do they hold it in. They DO drink a LOT to keep themselves hydrated. When driving say 500 miles or so they lose a lot of sweat, there is where the fluid goes out of their pores, not in the seat. OMG....how could you people even say that. They drink a lot of liquids or they would dehydrate and that can be dangerous. The cars can get well over 100 degrees in the race. My answer by the way is true blue and I wouldn't lie to you. OMG....pee in their pants and it evaporates.....get real!!!!!!

They try to avoid the situation by not drinking a lot right before the race (if it's a long one). If they have to go though, they just go. That's where the evaporation comes in. Most long time racers have faced this problem, at least the ol timers did. It's no big deal.

I believe it was Michael Waltrip that said they hold it till the end of the race and the first place they go after the race is over is the bathroom.

The same thing any pilot in any motorsport does. Hold it. Until they get out of the car.
(That's why in the Le Mans 24 Hours or other races like it there are crews of 3 pilots that go on 2-hour shifts in the car.)

they pee in their pants for real... it evaporates so fast that by the end of the race it doesnt matter anyhow... Most of the time it is so hot in the car that they sweat any extra out but they really have to hyrdrate before a race so they don't get dehydrated. Its unusual for them to have to go but if they do they just let loose in their firesuits...

I answered this BEFORE ...why do you think they put their HAND OUT the WINDOW for.....120 degrees inside the car...
200 miles left to GO.............what would you do? THAT'S RIGHT
If you couldn't STOP......you'd just wrap it in paper and OUT the window it fell....it was on the DASHBOARD but it just JUMPED OUT ON ITS OWN (it fell)..............Have you ever noticed in the Pit-box when the guy just graps the hot-dog wrapper off the GRILL and hands it to the driver(clean)...you notice when they USE that little BROOM to sweep the GRILL(notice no-ones standing to close either)...except the NASCAR officials ...cause they think your trying to get away with CRAP...........LOL

The King said it all- in the suit! By the time the race is over, they've sweated so much, even they can't tell.
