ROONEY

Wayne Rooney`s fault fair and square he knew the score and he is now trying to say it was an accident and that he put his foot in the players groin to get his balance. Yea right what about the look on Rooney`s face while he was doing it. It is making me cross that the media is sticking up for him and blaming the other man Ronaldo. What message is this sending out to football fans if he gets away with it. All the hype before the world cup about Rooney as if he was some kind of god. The trouble is Rooney has started believing it.

Well, from watching the footage, you can get your own idea of what happened. Rooney pushed a guy down and kicked him in the balls (perhaps unintentionally). Then, Ronaldo ran up to the ref to say that it was a foul, which it was because Rooney did step on the guy. Ronaldo spoke for less than 5 seconds, and Rooney lost his temper and pushed him, hence drawing the red card. Even though they may be good friends, even friends have to compete against each other. Ronaldo didn't do anything wrong by pointing out a foul and it is Rooney's own fault for not controlling his actions.

Rooney's fault

62': As at EURO 2004, Rooney's quarter-final ended early. Then it was injury, this time a red card for catching Ricardo Carvalho with a careless boot and shoving Cristiano Ronaldo in front of the referee.

It's pretty obvious, isn't it?

Rooney...He pushed two of the Portugese players on both his sides, and tripped over another fallen Portugese player, nearly crushing his nuts...And when the referee and a few of the other players approached him, things got even more tense, and his temper made matters worse (shoved Ronaldo), which resulted in him recieving a red card...

It was Rooney's fault for blowing his lid, but Ronaldo was intentionally trying to piss him off enough to get him out. He was egging him on when the game started.

When Rooney was thrown out, Ronaldo winked and smirked at the bench to signify the success.

it was Rooney's fault...he must control his temper........he would have got a yellow card for the "Foul"...but the ref was right by his side when Ronaldo cheated...when Rooney pushed him...then the ref had no choice but to send him off...

He hopefully will get more head balance with age..!!!

rooney shouldn't have stomped on the guy's crotch.

but he probably wouldn't have gotten the red card had he not pushed him. rooney had no one to blame but himself for losing his temper.
