Why are serial killers predominately male Caucasians?

Key word: predominately. Synonyms: mostly, usually, more often than not...

Anyway, I'm just curious because I remember a professor a long while ago telling us that there was a specific reason they are who they are. I just can't remember what that was.

A large amount of Americans are male Caucasians, so the proportion of killers should tie into the demographics of nation.

that has been a curious question. I think it has to do with fixations on things and since most serial killings include sexually " getting off" it might be a nasty repercussion of the hush hush policy... Even African American cultures have a more open community, where as the under lying shame, the shame and possibly the feeling of brevity...

I believe society and the way white men are raised, expectation and all but this is not an excuse to kill. Why are there more rapes in the US than other countries? This society!
