y people messing up answers over here.
you don't need router to share connection in this case as long as u already have DSL running.u just need hub or switch.

There is more than one answer to this question, but as the others have mentioned, the most common is to buy a router with a multiple ports.

The router gives you the advantage of being able to control traffic through opening/closing ports on the WAN side, or redirecting a port to a specific PC (useful if there is one PC that you will want to access through Remote Desktop from another location, for example).

Another advantage is that most home routers sold today come with built-in switches, which is the next step up from a hub. A hub is plenty fast enough for sharing an internet connection, but a switch enables even faster and more efficient file sharing between each networked PC (if you intend on sharing resources like printers or files).

you need a switch with 3 ports, first connect dsl modem to the switch and using RJ45 you can connect all the computers .

Connect the DSL modem to the "uplink" port on a 4 port switch. Connect the ethernet connection of each computer to the switch. Plug the switch in and you should be all set to go.

you need a router, that will serve as your tool for internet connection also like a hub if you want your 3 pc to have a network.

Basically you go to ur control panel and go under networking or summat. then u create a network between the comps thats what i know
