Sleep requirements will vary, depending on how old you are. Children generally need 10 to 12 hours of sleep; seniors may only require 5 or 6 hours of rest. But for the average adult, the norm is a full 8. Any less than that, on a regular basis, can lead to impairment in judgement, inability to concentrate, and eventual health problems. Each individual will have to find the best amount of sleep that will enable him or her to function at peak efficiency.

Wrong! You may think 6 hours is ok, but that is because your not in a job where you aren't allowed to make mistakes.
Regularly sleeping for only 6 hours affects your coordination and ability to concentrate and your patience.
Driving is like trying to type without using the backspace key or the delete key.
Many countries have laws which limit the working hours of professional drivers because their managers thought they could drive for days on end without sleeping.
