I think at one time or another, everyone has had at least a fleeting thought about suicide. Some decide that in the end, it is the best way to go. They are tired of the pain and the frustration of life and they really can't see a better alternative.
Others decide that there is a better way than suicide. That this pain they are feeling will pass and that the trials they are going through are just that, a trial and it will be short. All they have to do is hold on for a little longer.
Some, like me, are just too chicken to do it. I'd rather cause pain to other people than myself!! But honestly, all this hard stuff in life will end for a bit, give you a break. It's all about change and how you adapt to it. Some people are more good at adapting than others.
I've thought about committing suicide at least once a month. Mostly due to my husband being such a f***er and not having more support that I need.

Very very simple. At one time in our lives most of us think about but never consider suicide. The difference is, as you say "a stronger mind", but just as important is the closeness of family and friends to talk with, about life in general and when things become difficult

We are all not so different.

A bit of both. The majority of the time, people committ suicide because it's the easier option. It's harder to live through their problems. A stronger minded person will work through the problems, and they know how to ask for help.

But then the majority of people don't have to go through extreme situations.

I think that they are more strong minded and they have more traditional values and do not think too deeply about things. Also they may not have had a traumatic childhood or a mental illness.

It doesn't occur to some people. I think it is a mystery. Or it could be they are happy with the way their life is. It isn't even an option.

They can just see life better and they know taking their own life is something stupid to do and it won't help to solve the problem. They owe their life to their parents and how can they just take as they wish.

Never say Never.Every body wants to run away from worries of life.As soon as you find some one to support we improve. This is very damaging to think suicide. You die every day. It's better to stop as soon as possible.
