I don't want to have a mustache, but last time I waxed my lip, I broke out and it was even grosser than the hair! Anything I can do to prevent that?

I don't know what type of wax you used, but usually people break out when the wax is too hot. Try going to a salon ($10 for upper lip), if that doesn't work, use tweezers. Good luck!

You can go to a salon and have them do it. I have fair skin and I cleanse the area I am waxing first and pat dry, don't rub. Then I use the numbing balm first and wait a minute. After I wax I use cold water compress to reduce redness and numbing balm again. Gigi has an entire line of this stuff out.

don't let the wax dry too long, follow the directions in the package. ive been waxing and it helped make unwanted hair thinner. it's really worth time to wax, and it's also painful to do it. if you have trouble waxing try creams like sally hansen and veet

try using baby powder before you wax, then put ice on it after you've waxed and avoid moving ur upper lip too much or touching it after waxing. works for me!

ELECTROLYSIS! Might be a tad bit expensive, but...hey, it works! If you don't wish to go that drastic, try using noxema shaving cream and a facial razor. And apply a skin soothing aloe lotion immediately after hair removal.
