No, unless it's a cover up. Although I have a funny little story...
When I was in junior high school and high school I used to date this guy. We always always ended up getting back together even when we broke up for short periods of time. For many years. I came out when I was 17, he was cool with it and I asked him cuz he is sooooo feminine (but adorable) if he was gay, he always insisted no no no. Then like a year later he came out of the closet to me. We were always more attracted and comfortable with each other because he was so fem and I was so butch/ Sop in that case, before they realize they're gay, then they may date lol.
And to the moron uptop Steve...people hated blacks who "bitched about equal rights" also. Give us equal rights and we'll stop bi*ching lol. And I don;t have sex with a turkey baster, I have sex with your ...err I mean my girlfriend.

In a real sense? No. Sometimes gay men and lebians will cover for each other (go to a family reunion posing as boyfriend/girlfriend) or help each other reproduce. But gay men are only attracted to men and lesbians are only attracted to women. Period.

Probably not, but I guess they could.. Most lesbian women date other lesbian women, and gay men date other gay men..

They sometimes do it as a cover.
There's even slang for this activity. A beard is a female companion used to hide a gay man's sexuality by appearing in public as if she and the gay man were a heterosexual couple, and a merkin is a male companion used to hide a lesbian's sexuality. (Note that these aren't exclusive to gay male/gay female; beards and merkins may be straight.)
These relationships are facades to appear "normal". If they had their way, they'd be canoodling in public with those of the same sex.

I have also always wondered why a lesbian (the one who plays the male part) cant be in an intimate relationship with a gay male (the female in the relationship). But i gues thats the way their life is and its not up to us to matchmake them, just love them the way they r

It depends on what you call "date." If you're referring to that whole intimate sex thing. No...not unless they're NOT lesbians and gay men. As for interacting, and yes, even hugging, lots of gay men and lesbians hug, and even kiss, but it's never sexual, and it's never because they're "in love." Its just because they're friends who happen to regard each other as PEOPLE.

Lesbians...... date women
Gay men date ....... gay men
the only way they would date each other if it was indeed a coverup or most lesbian couples turn to their closet gay friends to donate sperm for preganicies.
