Hey-there are about 10000 black people a month being killed (by Muslims) these days in Darfur, but no one cares.

Before you make such an ignorant judgement you might want to be sure you are fully educated in what you are talking about. Yes Muslims enslaved Africans but they did it ina different way then the way whites in Europe and America did. Muslims enslaved Africans then raised their children as Muslims. There was a law against enslaving other Muslims so that's why they kept going back. Slavery was seen as a class in some ways and not a method of keeping a certain group of people subordinate and disadvatanged.

African Americans are only concerned with their captivity if they were enslaved by Asia believe you me they would only blame them. And don't forget we are a lost people, we are Americans , what do we know about Africa? I also believe the way it was so inhumane in America is what makes it stand out. Slavery has been around for years as you said but only when the Jews where slaves in Egypt and blacks in America is it spoken of being so so inhumane. The two are not forgotten as easily as the others also. And I don't believe that blacks are mad about Slavery.. well we are but more so sadden, troubled. We don't carry it around with us every day.

I think that the answer lies in the difference in the slavery in the two different places and the difference in the history of the slavery over time in the two places. Use yahoo to get the opinions of people in those areas. I've chatted with people from those regions and asked similar questions. Pay attention to the time zones and you can catch people from those regions in chat rooms here on yahoo... Also think about the media. The media here doesn't tell about issues of the sort around the world. I use Internet TV to catch the news and other shows around the world and can see all types of things going on around the world that the news here doesn't cover.

Islam is against Slavery .Our prophet tried a lot to free lots of slaves on those days.
By arab countries nowadays,I know that many Africans go to Arab countries to work in the houses. As they are paid money, they are not slave anymore.
Btw,I am not Arab so I can't clarify it more.

America is not just blamed for slavery, no reparations have ever been made to our ancestors here, lets start at home in this CHRISTIAN society.

Hmm...never thought of it that way; maybe it's because of the way muslims treated their slaves as opposed to the brutality of american/european treatment of slaves. I'll definitely investigate that further!
