I am 27-years-old and I have noticed some minimal fine lines around my eyes nothing that anybody really notices just me, I have seen some of my old classmates and some of them look soooooo old where as I have actually gotten compliments on my skin (not meaning to sound vain)...anyhow my question is?

What age does it seem like you seem to notice fine lines or ageing and does it bother you?

What things do you do that increases or decreases the effects of ageing?

Well I'm 45 years old now...and people tell me I look like I'm in my 30's. I have some lines around my eyes...thats a part of ageing.
The only advice I can give you is to ALWAYS protect your face when out in the sun (its the sun that does most of the damage)..I always use makeup with an SPF in it....or always use sunscreen and a hat (dont forget the sunglasses, because squinting will encourage wrinkles around the eyes)
And use a good eye and face cream in the morning and at night.

I think a sure sign of premature ageing is someone who smokes, so DO NOT SMOKE..!
And just enjoy life!

I don't have any lines on my face yet, and I'm 31, but I try to regularly moisturize my face, it's something I learned from my grandma. She's in her late 60's and has really good skin (people always think she's my mom). She says it because she's been using moisturizer on her face since she was a teenager. All the women in my family have beautiful skin with little or no lines. I'm don't wear any makeup or have any complicated femine skincare rituals. All I do is wash my face, and moiturize it with some Oil of Olay, and I'm good to go.

I began noticing mine at 27 as well. I think you'll be fine if you just use moisturizer underneath your eyes. It was really only noticable once my make up was on for long periods of time. Yes, it did bother me. Happy 4th! :)

Moisturise, honey, lost of it, and your skin will look younger for longer. Don't smoke, smile as often as possible I'm 54, and when my hair is freshly dyed, I can pass for 39. In fact, people keep asking me why I don't have my son all the time, when its really my grandson.
