i replied to an e mail from my hotmail account...n didnt c a confirmation "ur mail has been sent"
so, i opened the sent items to c if its listed there...to my surprise, there are only 2 mails in it...both APPLICATIONS for JOBS...
n when i highlighted both mails, it said they havent been sent !!!
is HOTMAIL this stupid...n BTW...the mail which i just sent is not listed in there...
does it mean that my mail is sent...???
is some1 from MSN reading this...................????????????
please reply...do i have to send it again...i`ve already LOST 2 jobs :-(

I hate Live mail!

Messages aren't saved to the Sent folder unless you click the "Save to sent folder" checkbox in the message before sending it. And even then I've had e-mails disappear en route. Use Yahoo or Gmail, they're much better.

I would say that the two emails were not sent (specially if you have enabled the "save my outgoing email" feature. Send them again and see if they get listed on the "sent emails". I have seen hotmail act crazy before and it seems to be server related. It looks like they have several servers to store the accounts, that is why your friends email may be working fine and your is acting up!

recomendations:
Try using another PC to send the emails to narrow it down to your own pc or simply MSN. If it workd for another PC then:

check you JAVA (maybe goto to www.java.com and download the latest version)

Try using yahoo mail, it's much user-friendlier
