cats can look after themselves, u don't need to bathe them, and they are great company.
dogs are very loyal and friendly, but can knock things over easily and you have to wash them & walk them, and their food is more expensive.
I personally love both, but if it's your first pet go a cat.

most people say that cats ignore you. if you really love the cat, pet it all the time as a kitten, then it wont ignore you nearly as much. it may sometime, it depends on the cat. i would go with a cat. on the other hand, dogs are usually ready for attention anytime. its really up to what you like better, always giving love whenever the dog wants it, or giving a cat love whenever it wants it. i spared the trouble, i have both a cat and a dog. i hope you find a nice pet. :)

I have always loved dogs and have 3...They are smart, friendly, and a great friend...You can have alot of fun with your dog,Playing speed ball, hide and seek and all games you can make-up...Dog will never let you down,Always love you know matter what and will be at your side until death...
Now a cat is completely different...They go all over the neigborhood and get in and out of trouble and are very independed and can get very nasty at times...They think they own you not you own them...And they do come and go as they please... So yes,A dog for life...They are mans best friend...

I prefer cats, they are less work. I think that if you are a really high energy person you should get a dag. But if you would rather curl up with a good book, then get a cat.

If you want company choose a dog. He will return your love, he will be there when you need company and his loyalty will never fade. The cat will seek you out only when he wants to be fed.

have not got an proprietor & worker type of dating with cats... they are consistently fantastic... Mouse is a accepted nutrition for cat.. while somebody is demanding you whilst eating your well known nutrition, do not you get offended on them ?? comparable regulations to cats additionally.. considering you asserting canines are dependable & truthful than cats.. Do you think of your man or woman puppy canines by no ability kill cats & different small animals for eating ?? that's genuinely incorrect.. in addition they behave like that... It does not mean they are not being dependable & truthful to you.. Its their inborn nature... Please be friendly with pets & do not be like an proprietor.. once you began behaving like proprietor, you will discover blunders on each and each of their events no count what that's.. they are consistently loving & worrying, they don't understand what's egocentric... Coz they are not a man or woman !

*** cats !!!~!
*** lots to think about... dogs take more time, need outside space [hopefully contained]...
*** i prefer to have cats {i have 3} and borrow dogs or go to the "off leash" beach or parks to interact with other's dogs...
*** when i'm gone it's easy for my cat loving friends to visit to make sure they have food, water, clean litter boxes and tender
loving care.../ dogs can't be left as easilly...
*** when i'm watching t.v.one of my cats always wants to sit on my lap...
