Goo gone works, or if you want a cheaper alternative take a razor blade and use it to peel the stickers off.

WD-40 works very well to remove sticky substances and can be picked up fairly cheap. Just scrap as much of the sticker away as possible and then wipe with WD-40. You may have to use glass cleaner after to remove oily film. Alcohol works pretty well too and the glass cleaner step can be skipped with it.

At most popular auto parts shops, they sell scrapers for just that one job: clean removal of long used window stickers. Ask and you shall receive ( if it's in stock ).

Use a blade to scrape it off, then use either paint thinner or lighter fluid to get rid of any sticky stuff that may have stayed on.
