I liked her clothes from when she first came out (1994) because most city kids (including me) dressed that way (baggy pants, dark shades, starter jackets). Her look changed with her maturity levels. She did not like wearing dresses until she was older (2000 & 2001). She definitely was a trendsetter musically and fashion-wise.
