Please help, my 'close friend' wants to destroy my life.?

Question

She admits to her bestfriend that I never did anything bad to her. But she 'my close friend' wants to destroy my good reputation.

She records our conversations and use the pause button to make it seems as if I said something bad about me or someone else. Now, she is trying to copy my voice.

After editing, she plays it to my teachers, my friends, their parents, my parents, even people I don't even know. She tells lies so they'll hate me.

She saves the recording bcos she wants to blackmail me when I bcome successful.( she said this)

I do not have a recorder and don't really wanna go to her level.

She has no shame, extremely convincing and use lies to blame me in front of everyone, every time I confronted her.
She is broke and wants me to be broke as well ( her bestfriend told me this confession).

I let her trample me bcos of pity. She is not pretty at all, broke, unloved by her family. Help me please. I am brave enough to go
against her but should I?

She sits bside me in class. I am not allowed to change seats. She's in the same group as me.

The ole pause button on the cassette machine ...only works in the movies. She would need editing software or equipment to make the conversation flow ... she'd also have to be fairly talented. And you're saying she it got it past your teacher?

So maybe ... this is a half truth ... perhaps she recorded you but
there wasn't any pause switch involved.

Okay ... just stay away from her so she can't record you anymore ...and remember from know on that anyone might have a tape recorder.

if you don't say anything, nothing can be recorded

just walk away. or stare at her and make faces but don't answer. don't talk. don't say a word.

why has this not occurred to you yet????

if you go to your teacher and say that this person is causing you so much trouble that you can no longer focus on school, and to please move you to a diff group, you will probably be moved. If they dont move you have a parent come in and explain you can't get anything from your schooling while you are being harrassed so much you can hardly talk, much less discuss a project. If they dont move you, still don't talk. It won't kill you. Let them figure out how to fill out the worksheet wihout you. is it that hard to be quiet??

She is has total control over you simply because you allow it by continuing to remain friends with her. She has troubles at home, so to escape those she creates chaos at your expense to forget about her problems.
You need to just quit talking to her. Plain and simple. This will be the only way you experience peace in your life.

Don't talk to her. Stop all communication. If she is treating you this bad as school then you should go to your principal about this. You should not let anyone treat you like this you need to stand up to her. Tell her that your not going to allow her to treat you this way anymore. Go to your parents and talk to them. Good Luck!

My ex-friend is kinda like that. Whenever i have something she always try to ruin it for me to bring her down to her level of misery. What you need to do is walk away from her. I distanced myself from her duriing junior yr of hs and I was so much happier.

she seems to be a ***** to me and she isn't a close friend now is she maybe she is doing this because she is jealous of you and if i were you i would teach her a lesson
