Has anyone ever listened to an audiobook?

What is it like? Does the person on the audiobook do voices according to the character? Or do they have different people "act" it out?

Sometimes audio books are read by one person. Sometimes (but less frequently) there are multiple readers. Often the reader tries to change his voice to reflect different characters. Sometimes its more successful than others :)

But audiobooks can be quite convenient.

It depends on the book and who is reading it. I've listened to a few where they did change their voice tone based on the character, and some where the narrator just read it normally all the way through.

I travel alot and listen to audio books often. They usually do diferent voices per character. They also pass the time quite well

I have. Some are better than others. Most use voice inflections to make it interesting. Try it out.

Yeah, it's just one person reading. They do a pretty good job, I was pleasantly surprised.
