Nothing wrong with the world as such. The fast pace of life does not allow sufficient time needed even for priorities. It is too late when discovered, that 'something ought to have been done about this'. Thus things go out of control over a period of time !
A similar question : What is the main problem the US is facing today?

1.) people look at life through a vail that is in front of there eyes they take the vail off and the truth and that it is crap so then they just put the vail back on and keep it on cuz they dont want to see the truth.
2.)There is one president
we put all are blam on one person.
Give the name president to 10 people who can come up with the same decison and instead of blaming 1 person you will blam 10 but what are the chances of 10 men being wrong. The thing is thats whats happening its called the house of repersentives
3.) There are children out there starving just alone in the u.s then there is the opposite the people who sit at there houses with out a care in the world with millions in there accoant!
what is with that.

Too much politics and religious fanaticism. Islam's ultimate goal is world domination and it hides its political ideology behind religion and uses the Koran to wage a "holy" war. Nothing is holy about war but religious fanticism takes this view as it justifies the killing and destruction. The muslim world and the non-muslim freedom loving countries will fight it out to the death, The other big problem is the huge economic gap between Industrialized countries and those third world countries. Corporate greed destroys everything for profit.

Message from the Founder and Dean
Did it ever occur to you that we remain ignorant of attested truth and scientifically proven facts, most particularly because we fail to make a personal, detailed investigation of important matters? This failure to investigate positively retards the progress of our understanding and knowledge in every vocation and phase of life, both physical and spiritual. Sometimes stopping and thinking for a moment over the essential things of life eliminates many regretted years of poverty, sickness, humiliation, embarrassment, sometimes death and destruction. Therefore, we should learn to pause and try to think intelligently before we finally conclude affirmatively or negatively. We should do this before an ultimatum or final decision is rendered on any secular subject. The majority of us are, to some extent, guilty of this negligence.
We are igonorant for the most part..just simply ignorant . which means one simply doesnt know

Too much to put down in one shot, holmes. Wars, crime, starvation, corruption in government, disease, breakdown of family life--and this is all just being general. You could take all of the items I just listed and be here for a week talking about specific problems.
The world is screwed up, man. And if people on this site don't think so, then they lead sheltered lives.

Everything in the modern world is made for one person. Laptops, ipods, single serve drink boxes, individual sugar packets and creamers... You buy a single cup of coffee, one muffin wrapped in plastic, individual meal combos for one in fast food restaurants...we wonder why people are selfish and materialistic. Everything is made just for you. We teach our children to share with others, unless there is only one packet of cookies. Then you should keep it for yourself. This is one thing that is wrong. People remove themselves as much as possible from other people. It makes us mistrust each other. We should share more. If we did, we would get better at it.

The world is overpopulated and a leader of one of the largest religions encourages it. We let a small group of people keep the rest of us hungry, naked and at war. The well-meaning are persecuted by detractors who offer nothing better.
This is only the impression I get from sitting here, looking out this window at 3 billion people.

Too many children being abused or not getting enough to eat. To many people beating up on their spouses. There is a war going on. Too many animals being abused, neglected, or dying in shelters because nobody wants them. Too many people not respecting other people's beliefs or not respecting their sexual orientation.

Failed immigration laws. They flood immigrates from one country instead of lots of countries. In the US, it's Mexico. In Canada, its China. In Britain, it's Pakistan, etc.
It's not racism, but a rapid loss of sense of community is a short period of time.
