Have you read the first chapter of New Moon? What did you think about how it ended?
Also why are there only 6 vampires at the end of chapter that Bella is looking at? Who's missing?

Carlisle is the only vampire that doesn't lose control in the sight (and smell) of human blood. He isn't "ravenous" like the others who have to fight for control.

OMG I LOOOOOOOOVE THAT FIRST CHAPTER!!!!!!!! actually, i LOVE EVERYTHING by stephenie meyer!! she just has such an amazing way with language...
Well the ending confused me too! I was wondering about the exact same thing! Well, I was thinking that Esme would keep her cool, too, but guess not. My best bet is Carlisle, since he's been on his "vegetarian" diet for, like, a millenium.
I seriously can't wait for the rest of that book! (bouncing in my seat) ~lol~

God, I HATED the cliffhanger... Stephenie is so evil sometimes..
As for the six vampires thing, I'm not sure who it would be. I know Carlisle wouldn't be one of them, because he works in a hospital. And Edward wouldn't either, because even though she's so she's his 'type' of human, he loves her too much to ever hurt her, like it explains in the first book. Possibly two of the six were Emmett and Rosalie. I can't see Esme acting like that though, or Alice. They both like her so much. I just can't imagine Edward ever trying to hurt her. So for me it's between Edward and Carlisle that *didn't* attack her.

Just another reason I find Alice innocent... But I love Alice, so that's kinda biased...*shrugs*

i read the first chapter of new moon and it is soo good. i already pre-ordered it and i cant wait till it comes out. carlisle isnt there b/c he's used to the smell of it.
