Because most people out there are fairly ignorant. They don't read and do research on medical subjects , and so they are left in the dark about what they can easily know a lot about. Most doctors I've been to, I've discovered, are pretty clueless even though they've gone to school for years.

When people have to visit a doctor, their very survival is the hands of the doctor. And only God can help if the Doctor fails. So for a doctor 'not to fail' place him next to God, so that want of sufficient respect need not cause the patient's death !

Well I don't believe in god. Doctors orders make more sense than religious orders.

people believe doctor next to god because god gives us life but doctors gives cure to our life. they help us to face and fight all the diseases which would cause to our death,so god just give us life but doctors helps us to survive lifetime through their medicines

Faith is very powerful but now-a-days people don't have faith. I see doctors but I know that they don't hold the cure to everyhting.
