haha funny how most people here answered with material items. true happiness...what is true happiness? can anything on this earth really gratify everlasting joy? everything is temporal- everything fades with the wind. even fame. the people who shook the foundations of this earth with their "discoveries..." having theories named after them. but what? when we read the John Dalton model of an atom...it's only a name to us. there is nothing beyond that. perhaps a little awe, but that's it.
you can spend your whole life looking for happiness, and you will never be satisfied. because that answer only lies in the love of God.

Finding a 10 or a 5 in my pants pocket after not having worn the pants in a long time. That'll just make my day and i'll be smiling the whole time after.

I could have began this by saying " Sunshine on my shoulders makes me happy..."
but honestly - children playing - of any caste, Creed, sex or religion makes me really happy - just the look of their face - happy or bewildered, sad or mournful, ecstatic - all expression makes me happy - perhaps they are best creation of this world !!
