Accept it as the key to the door to moving on. Explore the things you can do now you couldn't do during the relationship. Including being alone, or doing things you weren't interested in. Find new interests which will lead to new people, new experiences, new adventures which is what life is about. You'll develop the capacity to function as an individual - which is paradoxically the key to real relationship with others. Most people remain babies, in need of a crutch. It makes them unreliable and boring.

It is so hard feeling like this honey but the first thing you need to do is accept that it is over. Spend time fulfilling your own needs and have fun with you friends and family. Rejection really brings down your self confidence so make sure that you do things to boost your confidence like shopping, hobbies, get your hair done, meet new people like on Answers. Keep smiling and if you feel that you are hitting a low then talk - call your friends and talk to them. You will be fine. Keep your chin up!

Everyone gets rejected at some point - it's part of life. The pain has a point - it enables Elvis Costello Songs to really really gut you....more than when you were just listening to them carefree with an intact heart.
You will learn to cope with time, but some people/memories stay with you always. It just ebbs and flows. There is really nothing other than time to help lessen the blow.
Someone new and different will arrive.

Everything and everyone is for A REASON, A SEASON AND FOR LIFE.
Rejection is given and received. Learn from the experience and remember that when the time comes for you to reject someone, they will probably feel the same way as you do now.
Just take each day as it comes and like all painful experiences, it will fade, unless you won't let it.
Remember, the next good experience is just waiting to happen to you. You won't see it coming if you keep looking back!

Listen to music, talk to friends, take some time for yourself and realise this isnt where life stops, but merely changes its course.
Basically dealing with a broken is just a part of life, you'll get over it eventually.

time heals all wounds. You will always recall it even 20 years from now, but time lessons the pain.
I used to always find something to busy myself so I wouldn't dwell on it

Think about what was better without him. Thing you can do more often and stuff. That helps a lot.
