I would go with the spouse I had children with (if I only had children with the 1). It seems more respectful to my kids that they will be able to go see there mom and dad together.

Jesus said at the resurrection people will neither marry nor be given in marriage, they will be like the angels in heaven. What it is saying is that there is no such thing as marriage in heaven. We will all be God's angels.

In the after life i do not think you would really need to choose. We can only speculate I guess , because feelings are only earthly.

there is this great quote from the movie Ghost and it says that you take the love you have with you... you don't go to be with one person... the love that you shared with both will be there for all... i believe that.

What does it matter if you're dead? It is the end of everything. Don't worry about it.
