This is a huge spider that keeps building his/her nest on my porch. I only knock it down, hoping he/she will find a new home. Should I just capture the spider and move him/her elsewhere? I don't want to kill it!

They're smart enough to know that they need food more than they need to be pissed off! Need food, not 'tude!

they too stupid to know you'll do it again.
in nature is it passing animals or falling branches that damage the web, which does not happen to often, so it is easier to fix the web than to go elsewhere and make a new one.

if you really wanna get rid of the web, kill the spider or take him like yards away.
