Very disappionting movie. Almost wanted to ask form my money back and the 2 hours I wasted on it.

I liked it, but I knew the "twist" before I saw it, so I watched it knowing what the villagers were up to. In truth, I think that knowing the twist in advance makes it a better film.

The story was predictable, but I enjoyed it for many other attributes: the cinematography; the characterizations; the mood and tempo.
After all, there are only so many basic plot lines; once you know them all, you start looking for other aspects to enjoy.
Now, the Blair Witch Project....THAT was dumb.

I liked that movie; the performances are excellent; I think that most people didn't like it because they wrongly expected a similar movie to the sixth sense.

I was looking forward to something spectacular- my fault I guess. for having high expectations. But the part towards the end had me splits. I thought it was hilarious. I was laughing for days.

i never saw the village but when i was about to see it i heard that it sucked so instead i saw a different movie

yeah me too.. i dont say it was dumb!!!
its just so predictable n lack of suspense..
it was so surprising for me to knoe tat night shyamalan direct it!!
he is a really great director!!!
bt yah 4 dis 1 it's really dull

very disappointing, expected better from that director, especially after the " I see dead people" movie, sorry can't remember the name
