The ultrasound would be most accurate but nothing is as accurate as the date of her last menstrual cycle.

I think the ultrasound would be more accurate. There is really no difference in the feeling between 25 and 28 weeks. I just got done being pregnant 2 weeks ago. Its only a 3 week difference in a whole 40 week stretch. I would go with the ultrasound.

In early pregnancy, blood tests are fairly accurate since the amount of hormone in the womans blood rises a certain amount for each week pregnant.... Ultrasound can be effective however I do not trust ultrasound as much since I was told that my daughter was at least 7 1/2 pounds and the doctors induced labour and out popped my 4 pound child!! But, for gestational age, ultrasound can measure the size of the fetus and place it in the guidelines for size for certain weeks gestation.... Best of luck and congrats on your baby!!!!

Ultrasounds would be more accurate because they can measure the size of the baby. Almost all (healthy) babies grow at about the same rate until the 20 week mark of pregnancy, then it starts to change. So an untrasound up until around 20-21 weeks would be pretty accurate.
Both of my ultrasounds measured my babies to within 3 days of their due dates.

She would still be her third trimester no matter if she was 25 or 28 weeks. I relied on the ultrasound because it measures the baby and its development. From my experience I felt the ultrasound was more accurate.

She should know when her last period was. That is the most accurate way to tell how far along she is. If she doesn't know when her period was then I would say to go with the ultrasound.

The ultrasound is more accurate, they tell by the seeing the development of the baby (size, etc.).
