Putting The Abortion Issue To Rest Once And For All?

Question

Here is what I think might just do the trick:

How: Put it to popular vote with the results being binding in all states.

The Catch: Allow only women to vote on this issue.

The Reason: Only women own their own bodies. Only women should decide what to do with their bodies. Men really shouldn't be making and passing these laws.

(I really don't think the marjority of women would be willing to give up the option. There are too many laws on the books now that restrict their rights as it is.)

Hey moron, you already have the right to choose why put it too a vote to get the right to choose. For those who wouldn't get an abortion.....DON'T. I'm sure a lot of people don't want you deciding for them. Why leave men out of the decision??? You females are certainly needing men when it comes time to pay child support or for the abortion. Think then speak.

I too think it is a woman's issue as it is the woman's body there. People nowadays don't realize what they are risking women resorting to if they abolish abortion. In the old days, women who were pregnant out of wedlock or didn't want the baby (her man wanted to screw but didn't want another mouth to feed, unwanted kids and ones they couldn't afford ended up in orphanages), would go and have someone to abort the baby. They used a coat hanger. They used the coat hanger to push inside the womb, stabbing the fetus and scraping it out. Many women suffered from and died from infections from this procedure.

If a man wants a say in this then I have an idea. They should all go to a sperm bank donate all the sperm they want. Afterwards go and get a vasectomy. That way, the only way a woman can get pregnant is through artificial insemination, so the pregnancy would have to be wanted. And this should be mandatory for all males past age 13 since after that age, their hormones rage and they can't keep it in their pants.

I think people don't know the difference between birth control and contaception. Birth control ends an already impregmented egg. Contraception means that the egg won't get impregmented or even exist as a viable egg. Thus lets teah and push contriceptives. When an abortion is needed it it NOT public opinion. It isn't what polotics are made of. An abortion is a decision between a woman, her doctor and her God.

This subject really shouldn't be part of government
I feel like the only women vote on this.........but it would set presidence for other groups wanting private voting. Something to think about

you know what i like that idea but at the same time many women are those that oppose abortion i do when it's just because some woman doesn't use birth control or have her partner use it and she gets more than one abortion some women have had 5 or more. Now in cases of rape or incest what the hell kind of mind would force a woman who has already been traumatized have to go thru further trauma by carrying a baby to term and then give it up for adoption which would be best or in cases of incest the baby could be very deformed rapist would love this go out and rape many women maybe they get pregnant and carry the bastards evil deeds on for many centuries

That would hardly put the issue 'to rest once and for all'. If you're going to bar men from voting in this issue, then you must also prohibit women who can no longer conceive from voting. Since they can't get pregnant anymore, this doesn't concern them.

BTW, women don't own their own bodies. That's why it's illegal for them to rent them out.

It would be better if all people were allowed to vote. Otherwise it is not the will of the people. I do believe that once the pro choice movement feels threatened, then the truth about abortion will come out. And the truth is that God himself invented abortion, and practices it every day in the form of miscarriage. The Bible makes clear how to determine if a pro life person is a false prophet:
Deuteronomy 18:20-22
20 But a prophet who presumes to speak in my name anything I have not commanded him to say, or a prophet who speaks in the name of other gods, must be put to death."
21 You may say to yourselves, "How can we know when a message has not been spoken by the LORD ?" 22 If what a prophet proclaims in the name of the LORD does not take place or come true, that is a message the LORD has not spoken. That prophet has spoken presumptuously. Do not be afraid of him.
Jeremiah 23:30-32
30 "Therefore," declares the LORD, "I am against the prophets who steal from one another words supposedly from me. 31 Yes," declares the LORD, "I am against the prophets who wag their own tongues and yet declare, 'The LORD declares.' 32 Indeed, I am against those who prophesy false dreams," declares the LORD. "They tell them and lead my people astray with their reckless lies, yet I did not send or appoint them. They do not benefit these people in the least," declares the LORD.
It is a sin for you to continue to tell people that Abortion is wrong. God calls for you to be put to death for falsely presuming to speak his name in support of the pro life movement. No where in the Bible does God say that abortion is murder. In fact God uses abortion through out the Bible to bring about his will.
I can explain abortion to any person able to understand. I cannot explain it to a Dog, Cat, or closed mind.
God is the inventor of abortion. Presumably God uses miscarriage as abortion to expel from a woman's body a fetus that he chooses not to bring to term. God does this service for all animals, not just humans. And God loves these animals and man when he chooses to abort their fetus. For man, God is capable of giving eternal life in exchange for any child, fetus or man that he takes. This is his eternal love for us.
God arranged things such that no man lives longer than 150 years, then his time is up and he is also offered eternal life. So God offers eternal spiritual life in exchange for death.
And God chooses which fetuses will be aborted. God has infinite power and can choose to eliminate the possibility of abortion and force the birth of any child he chooses. He does this with other animals and he states in the Bible that he is an all powerful God. He is that powerful.
If you abort a child that God wants to live, he can simply transfer that life to another person. It does not mean that you made a wrong choice or that God must live with that Choice. I don't think God would allow Christ’s next coming to be stopped by an abortion that he condones.
Can a person commit an abortion against God's will? Yes. And it would be sin committed under our Free Will.
Evidence shows that many miscarried fetuses are malformed. And others are perfect. So we know that God does not use simply malformation as the basis for abortion. God must use other information. For example, God may know that a person is simply not ready for a child. Or the person may not be able to support a child. Or the child may have been born out of wedlock. Or that another person should raise the soul that he has placed in one person. And there are thousands of other reasons that God may have chosen abortion or miscarriage. One thing is certain; God did not choose "life". Some of us will die before birth and for none of us will live after 150 years of living.
What God teaches through abortion is that there are reasons for man to have abortion. And in the long run God teaches that these reasons make the world a better place.
I believe that a person should pray to God if there is any chance that an abortion is needed for any of the reasons above, or no reason. If God says that it is right, then it cannot be wrong. And anyone that says otherwise is going against God's will. Simply ask yourself if all humans that were ever born were still here today, would the Earth be a better place. I think not. Death is a part of God's plan and it makes his Kingdom a better place; as does eternal life for those who have served God’s purpose.
I hope that you are able to understand the need and purpose of abortion and will not fall into the beliefs of the false prophets that preach the Pro-Life anti God line.

Does the baby have any say? I'm sorry but if I could have talked in my moms womb I would have said thanks mom for not KILLING me.

And what about the dad, He should have a say about HIS child also. There are single dad's out there raising children by themselves.

If you don't won't a baby then do something about it before you have sex not after there is a human life involved.
Heck if you don't won't your baby then give it to me and I'll love it as my own.

Sorry, I am an still advocate for human rights. And yes to me a 'fetus' is a human with rights. And yes I am a woman, there are other options for that human, like say adoption.....
