I hope my question is clear.
I get lots of e-mails pertaining to lots of different things (like most everyone), and I sometimes am looking and needing to get an e-mail reply back quickly-- so I would like to set it up where I get the "pop up notification" when I receive a new e-mail. I hope my question is clear.
Thanks for your help!

You will need a third-party application to do this.

If you're using Yahoo! email, then run the Yahoo! Messenger program and log in using the e-mail address in question. It will notify you via popup.

You can also use Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express if your e-mail provider supports POP3 e-mail clients (most, if not all, commercial providers do). Contact your provider for how to setup Outlook for their service. Outlook 2003 has popup notices by default.
