You'll need some plutonium or 1.21 jigowatts of electricity, a delorean, a flux capacitor, and Doctor Emmitt Brown!
If you put your mind to it, kid, you can accomplish anything.
All kidding aside:
It's going to be hard, there is no such thing as negative distance. Research, Stephen Hawkins, get into quantum physics you may discover how to do it properly.

Watch Quantum Leap, a cool 1990 tv series about time travel. It's about a guy who can travel in time and "leaps" into bodies of people to save their lives from being destroyed. Check it out. http://www.scifi.com/quantum/
Sorry, can't help you with your project, though. Good luck!

Spend lots of time in libraries and school (emphasis on math/physics).
Dont listen to people who tell you it can't be done, ask why not and find a way around their arguments, if valid.

88 mph, 1.21 Gigawatts, and one Flux Capacitor. Make sure to bring your own weapons; safety's not guaranteed. Push it to the limit!
