Only try not to give email Id (Main) to everyone i mean on websites.

Alternative you have 2 email Id as protection from Junk emails and it works www.hotpop.com is the best as you can redirect your email from there and you main email id is protected.

as soon as you put your email in a guestbook or anywhere in public, or even if somebody who has your address and their computer gets a virus, your email is harvested and sold in bulk to anyone with the cash.

The 419 scammers send out THOUSANDS of those emails in hopes that ONE person is dumb enough to send them money.

Some people like to string the scammers along and see how far they will go.....

they are probably buying it from people who sell personal information and e-mail addresses
