socks have a secret life. The dryer is their escape route to a parrallel universe. They depart but not in pairs...maybe some dischord in their original union drives them to seek a different life away from everything they have ever known...

i have had this ensue earlier too. I figured that they went into some sort of sock limbo contained in the sky (in view that no longer something else looked as if it would clarify the mysterious disappearance. Then in some unspecified time sooner or later, the drier began smelling like something became burning on each occasion it became became on. It became out that the rotating part of the dryer after years of use did not in good structure as snugly because it did earlier and sockes were slipping out of the drying chamber into the body of the dryer the position the different transferring elements are. in the experience that your automatically susceptible you could examine there as i got here upon extremely some pairs back there. contained in the washer, each from time to time they could get in the back of the basket shaped aspect the garments are meant to be in in the course of the spin cycle.

UFO's, the Yeti, Atlantis, the Pyramids, the Loch Ness monster, Black Holes, and disappearing socks... These are just mysteries in life that you need to accept right now that mortal man does not possess any explanation that will suffice. Move on, man, they disappear...micro blackholes, aliens, cotton-eating gremlins...we may never know...

There's a sock monster that lives in the closet, it eats only one sock of each pair. You can't ever get rid of him. And he stalks you at night giving you bad sock dreams.
