For the past two months my period has been irregular. Last month it lasted over 8 days and now its time for my next one and I have spotted for 4 days before it actually started. I normally start right on time and it lasts for only 4 days. Im not sexually active but about 2 months ago I had pains that were believed to be a cyst on my ovary. Related? Any help??

It is not unusual to hev spottings!! Cysts can contribute a little but it may be due to disturbance in the hormonal axis. Consult a gynae!!

Maybe you should go to a gynec and check yourself out for Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS). It is best to go to a doc for a check up though.

If you hav a cyst it can cause your cycle to mess up it did mine. but i would check with your dr again to have it rechecked.
