Travelling and/or living in other countries is a great experience. It can give you a broader perspective on life by experiencing other people opinions, way of life, and different approches to situations.
I have travelled to 20 countries over the last 4 years.
But its not for everyone. It may involve taking bold steps and being out of your comfort zone at times. But the more adventurous you are the more you will learn and experience.
Plan, be aware of the environment around you, and dont be presumptious. TAKE THE STEP :)

I don't look at just how much money I earn. While I do need enough to live half decently, I also look at the whole picture. I wouldn't move if I liked where I live, the people I worked with, etc., unless I wasn't making enough to support myself. I might consider it if the job was that much better than my current one and I could find a decent place to live. But I wouldn't move just for the money.

It all depends on what you mean. Sure we may earn less money in the US but in other countries, they make a little more money but don't have as much freedom or free will. The US gives us so much more than a little less money!

Generally the country may have better health and living standards. I would love to be living on a nice tropical island but in the circumstance that health care availabilty and standard of living re employemnt is better where I am I'm gonna stay.

Yes. Having the rights to do pretty much anything you want. This is the Greatest Country in the World. You will never be as free as you are here. Good enough?

It depends how adaptible you are. Even in other English-speaking countries, you will find significant and sometimes difficult-to-overcome cultural barriers. But if you have the right mindset, it can be a very rewarding (and not just in monetary terms) experience to live overseas.
I loved doing so, and would again if the right opportunity presented itself.

Money isn't everything. You might earn more abroad but if you are put in an environment that makes you uncomfortable, then the money wouldn't be worth it.
Unless it's a huge huge amount
Good luck

It's up to the individual. I would not want to live and work in a foreign country. I never felt comfortable being in another country.

Since a person is an individual and can have their own reason for doing whatever they want, the person doesn't need a 'socially-approved' reason -- which is the only kind you think people have. People do whatever they do, and everyone is unique. It doesn't matter, because whatever they do, it's still experience gained.
