I'd recommend your local craigslist.org

If you think your mini cannot deliver at least half of its original battery life, and nothing else is wrong with it, you can take in to the Genius Bar at your local Apple Store and they will replace it with a good-as-new iPod mini for only US$60. They will need to hold on to your old one for a couple days while they run an exhaustive battery test to confirm that the battery is indeed deficient. Then, a day or to later, Apple will ship a very nice replacement iPod to the store where you took it, and it will be a completely different unit, with virtually new parts.

That way, if you are still looking to sell it, you will be able to get a fair amount more money for it, but only if your original iPod mini was fairly beat up. Otherwise, the new one wouldn't be worth more than $60 more than your used one, and you'd effectively be taking a net loss to replace it before the sale.

Your other option is to try to sell it as is and let the prospective buyers know about Apple's generous replacement program for iPods with battery trouble (if yours is having any trouble, that is)

Best of luck to you...

Try your local pawn shop.

They gave my friend good money for his used iPod... even though it was the full iPod and not the mini.
