What happened in the last season of the x-files? Why did Mulder go missing, and who's the 'father' of Scully's baby ?

The series went downhill very fast after season 6. very tragic!! I wouldn't recommend u watching the last season (being season 9); but I'll tell u anyway.
David Duchovny worked on only one episode in season 9 that is the final episode. He was found and captured by the bureau and held accused of murder
this episode is 2h:20m long. It ends with him and scully feeling so helpless as the date for the colonization is set and they finally knew when exactly.
In this season u'll know that Mulder is the father. The child is born and given the name William and everyone is after him for no known reason. To protect him, Scully gave him away to an anonymous family.
As u can see, this season is screwed up real bad, but if u wanna download it anyway, u might search torrentspy.com and use a bit-torrent client to download. Again it might not be worth the wait
If u wanna read episode briefings instead go to tv.com a.k.a. the world's biggest spoilers ;)

The last season sucked. Mulder was in a coma and the sexual tension and romantic drama between Mulder and Scully, the heard of the show, had been cut out.

Mulder is the father, isn't he? Isn't he? not assistant director SKINNER? OMG.

There were a couple of shows every season that didn't trip my trigger, but overall it's still one of my all time favorite shows - I'll bet I've seen them all at least 5 times each. Gotta admit though, I loved the chemistry between Mulder and Scully - wasn't a big fan of the movie though.
