Yes it is, why are you so against seeing your mother in a swim suit? You should be proud that she still want to wear one and feel comfortable doing so.
Your mother is an adult, encourage her she needs to know that her daughter is just a proud of her as she would be of you when you wear a new dress, gown or what ever, so you can feel good about yourself.
Make your mom feel good about herself, so she can be self assured and feel good about herself.
Moms and daughters should be the best of friends and close to each other.

Yes it is fair, just as it is fair for a daughter to be able to wear a swimsuit in front of a mother. Gosh, lighten up. I am a grandma and I wear a swimsuit, and no one comments. Actually they do, they are thrilled when I have mine on, as the grandkids all want to swim with me! (and I have a typical 53 year old body, a bit on the heavy side, but I don't care as it is the fun I will have that is the most important - I am not in a beauty pageant!)

Why would it not be? If a mom walked naked in front of a daughter who cares? Nudity is not evil, wrong or a problem. Now a mom walking nakid in front a teen aged son would probably gross him out. A Dad walking naked in front of a daughter would be inappropriate I think. At least if she's older than 1 or 2 yrs old.
Until the last 100 years most people lived very comunal lives. Not much went on without the entire family hearing and sometimes seeing it. We make far too much about nudity today.

Is it because you don't ever wear a swimsuit? Now is it fair? It's not- because she should know as her Mom that you would feel envious? Is it fair to expect everyone to not wear a swimsuit, because you can't wear one...or you think you can't wear one?
There's a swimsuit for every body type. Go to a store with your Mom where they have plus size women bathing suits. A sarong over a sexy bathing suit for plus size women will help cover up...I just saw a show this afternoon about bathing suits for all types of bodies.

Why wouldn't she be able to? Me and my daughter go to the water park all the time and yes I have a swimsuit on and yes I even walk in front of her. This is a weird question.

It all depends on what kind of relationship mother and dauther have. It also depends on the family background if the family is quiet open and if they know to handle the daughter properly, if the daughter respect her mother and listens to her then its okay to for a mother to wear swimsuit in front of her daughter.
This is not the case with conservative family background or the daughter doesn't respect her mother and doesn't listen to her at all.

Where in the world is mom suppose to wear her swimsuit? The bathroom? Most bra and panties cover more skin than bathing suits and everyone raises hell if we walk around like that. Which would you prefer a mom to be seen in?
