It's not all about the US. If Kim Jung Il shot a missile into the Pacific.. Japan, USA, and South Korea would be there to try to distroy it. Then the rest of Asia would kick N. Korea's a@#! I don't think for a minute that China or Russia would ever support N. Korea. They probably wouldn't because they are not a communist nation anymore and they do more business with America and other nations.

There is no reason to destroy that missile while it is still on the launch pad.
It is possible to determine the likely trajectory of an intercontinental ballistic missile within the first minute of the boost phase of its flight. If that missile is launched, and there is any reason to think it is headed for any part of the Free World, it and its launch facilities should be completely and utterly destroyed.
Personally, I think that Kim Jong-il is so pathetic that he must occasionally pull stunts like this just to keep his name in the news and to massage his overblown ego. We should all just learn to ignore him and his half-azzed excuse for a country until he steps over the line; then he and his military should be blown to kingdom come.

Don't worry. North Korea doesn't have oil so it is not eligible for atacking. Iran does have oil so you'll hear more from this country than Korea. Got it?

Why should we allow it to go up.
This is a no win situation no matter how you look at it.
