Figure out what drives you. If you have a goal and a plan to reach that goal, it will drive you to succeed. Read self-help books on success and getting rid of procrastination. ( Frank Betger is one author to start with) Use a planner, avoid the things that "hook" you into being lazy (for me it was TV, video games, magazines) At least you realize you have a problem. And that is the starting point!

You didn't mention weather you are working or not. If you're working, set a time table on what you are currently doing. This will make you busy and focus on your job. If you're unemployed, look around, there are plenty of vacancies, but you should not be choosy or try to start a small business of your own. In this way, it will occupy most your time and think widely the nice way, to develop something new in order to expand your business. This may grow and make you a rich man someday, who knows?

I have no idea. I've always been lazy. My girl doesn't have a problem with it though, so it's not ruining my life or hers.
