Actually, Jose is due to start this week as a pitcher for the San Diego Surf Dogs in an independent league in California making the minimum of something like $2500 a month. Yes - a pitcher. How the mighty have fallen.

Jose is thinking the quickest way he can make a few more dollars is playing some baseball and maybe someone will write another book. It's all about publicity and staying in the publics eye. People who are considered stars will always want to feel wanted by the public. It's his way to get back in the public eye, and maybe make a few more dollars before all the steroid scandal dies down.
